Cancellation Policy

The Lodge at Pleasant Point is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 14 (fourteen) days* prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. However, there will be a $25 bookkeeping fee. If any cancellation is made within 14 days*, regardless of the reason, your deposit will be non-refundable. We require a deposit to hold reservations 25% of total due for Inn rooms, 50% of total for cabins and condos. Deposits are credited to the total bill and the remaining balance is to be paid upon arrival. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than fourteen (14) days* notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. A 30 day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events.

Check-In & Check-Out Time

Check-in begins at 3pm until 6pm. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call or email to make arrangements. Check-out time is 10am.

Housekeeping

During this critical time, no room refreshes will be offered. Please let us know if you need any replacement or additional amenities needed (ie. Soap, Shampoo, or a change of towels)

After departure, our housekeeping staff will wait to enter rooms as long as possible between reservations. Rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, taking all personal precautions (face mask & gloves), opening windows for optimal air circulation, and utilizing EPA approved cleaning products in order to put the room ‘back into inventory’.

The Lodge is a 100% non-smoking property. A $250.00 cleaning surcharge will be imposed to any room where guests have smoked with disregard for our policy.

Alcohol On The Property

We ask that if you bring alcohol to the property that you keep it in your room. We are a food & beverage establishment and we do sell it through the property. Personal alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the property including the wrap around porch. If you would like to purchase a bottle of wine or beer to enjoy on our property it can be added and delivered to your room before check-in or anytime during your stay (glasses and bottle opener provided).  Please seek out a staff member for assistance. We also have ice buckets available upon request. The bar opens at 4:30pm, and the restaurant opens at 5:00pm for dinner Tuesday through Saturday. Reservations strongly encouraged in advance.

Quiet Hours In The Lodge

During the quiet hours from 10pm to 7am we ask that you be respectful of other guests and keep noise at a minimum.

Children's Policy

We ask that for safety purposes that parents be responsible and not leave children alone in the rooms, or anywhere inside or outside of the property.

Pet & Service Animal Policy

70 lb or less canine companions are permitted only in the Elm Cottage. Pet dogs are included at $35 per pet, per night rate increase. Please be aware that dogs are the only pets allowed, they must never be left in a guest room alone and must always be on leash when outside. While we love our pets, not all of our guests feel the same way. For this reason dogs are not permitted in interior public spaces or the lodge wrap-around porch. As a condition of reserving a room at our hotel, you agree to pay a $250.00 fee if any pets are found in rooms not designated as dog-friendly, or if your animal causes stains or damage to a pet-friendly guest room.

Gift Certificate Policy

Gift certificates must be presented at check-in along with a valid driver’s license. Gift certificates are non transferable. Any remaining amount on gift certificates can be used at a later day up to the expiration date. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.
